Here's a sort of rough sketch using colour. I don't have a 'technique' yet per se, but that's what I'm aiming for.

As I start to get more familiar with the tablet, I think it might be easier to rough out pencils, then just ink them directly on the tablet (I've been drawing clean pencils over roughs, then with the tablet). I like the clean line look I get from the tablet.

More tablet inking fun. This one was a good example of using the computer to easily tweak things I didn't like. While not drastically different, the original pencils are not as refined as this, and I was even able to move a few things around.

This was my first attempt at inking relatively rough pencils using a tablet and Photoshop. I would love to colour this picture one day, if I can find the time.

This little critter has played a reocurring role in my sketches since grade school. I've got a few rough story ideas I'd love to see him in, and will hopefully find the time to do that soon.

Coffee Shop Sketch #1

This is the first of many sketches I did while on lunch, sitting in an undisclosed, ridiculously popular Canadian coffee shop. These are actual people, although I didn't 'actually' try to draw them. I used them more as proportion guides while trying to hammer out my own style.

I also drew a garbage can and a coffee cup, but didn't pencil them (the original sketches were done in non-photo blue pencil). Maybe I'll include those later.
