The new web site design is finally up! I've been plugging away at this one here and there for a while, so it's nice to finally get it going. I'm hoping this is more accessible, with a bit more leeway to make changes in the future. I've added links to my deviantART, and Twitter accounts. For some reason, I've never thought to link to these here before. I've got some more things I want to get up on the site, as well as revamp how I handle mobile traffic, but for now this should do. In other news, it looks like my involvement in "Don't Get Sucked Under the Escalator!" has come to a close. No need to get into the specifics, but it does look like the project will be completed with an entirely new artist. As for what my next project is, I have a few ideas, but I'll post more when I have more to say. In the mean time, I thought I'd post some of the finer moments from my work on Escalator. These are just snippets of pages, character designs and ideas I was rather proud of. Enjoy!

After sort of dealing with the proprietary flash gallery on the site for a few years now, I've decided to re-vamp it and write my own from scratch. It's actually been up for a couple of weeks now, but I keep forgetting to write a post about it. It is done using only javascript and XML, forgoing Flash all together. I did all the coding from scratch, by hand, except for a few re-used libraries that weren't worth re-doing (i.e. Date formatting, mobile browser detection). After putting all that work into the gallery, I'm thinking the site may have to be re-designed again. It's functional, but it's not exciting to me any longer. We'll see.
